Tinnitus articles & presentations by leading experts
Can your chances of getting tinnitus be influenced by your genes?
A very interesting article has been published showing evidence of a hereditary link to the susceptibility of having bilateral tinnitus (tinnitus in both ears). This was based on a large research study in Sweden involving twins published in Genetics in Medicine.
We have included access to the original research publication.
Personalization of tinnitus sound therapy
This article published in the journal, Frontiers in Psychology, includes a review of 165 research studies and articles on the current approaches taken to personalization of tinnitus sound therapy. The review was completed by Searchfield GD, Durai M and Linford T (2017).
We would welcome feature articles contributed by other leading academics, researchers, clinicians, allied health providers and of course our members.
We would like to have a mix of articles that appealed to different audiences, with some articles being fairly technical (scientific, or research focused), but also articles that people that suffer from tinnitus would also find helpful.
Please use the Contact Us page to get in touch and we will arrange to review your article prior to publishing (all material will be reviewed by our clinical team for suitability).
